Dagger in my heart

Take this dagger out my heart lord
I feel sad in
my tower of physical
isolation
frustration
and sadness
I can’t do
nothing but turn to you
my heart feels abused
desires that
can make me loose
the most precious
thing I have
which is my connection
with you
so do
me a favor
let me taste the flavor
of your love
send a dove of peace
on my heart
calm me
love me
let me breath
in joy
and contentment
breath out
sadness and resentment
I want to continue
strengthen me
repair me
give me hope
fill me with
that spirit
the dagger is almost
gone
something still feels
wrong lord
so strengthen me
cover me
hold me
Wow
that was quick
and strong
I’m ready
to start my long
day
thank you
lord
